Metal roofing
A metal roof built around two palm trees
Two palm trees grow straight up through this white metal roof. Each trunk has its own opening, flashed on top and finished underneath.
The job
What you can see
From above: white metal sheeting runs around both palm trunks, with flashings dressed around each opening.
From below: the timber-lined underside of the roof, with the two trunks rising through their own openings and daylight around them.
It is the sort of detail that has to be worked out on the roof, not out of a catalogue.
